The journey to Sunroot began fifteen years ago with the discovery of the hidden potential of Jerusalem artichoke. About the guesthouse
An oasis of calm in the Orava countryside, 15 minutes’ walk from the centre of Dolný Kubín.
The guesthouse sits in Medzihradné, on the outskirts of town. On the terraces of the Villa, the quiet atmosphere blends with the murmur of the forest, a babbling brook and the seasonal rhythms of Slovak country life. For the quality of its accommodation and design, our guests compare us to a boutique hotel.
